Dr. Yeager earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and obtained her MPH from Benedictine University. Her special interests are preventative medicine, forensic veterinary science, shelter medicine, veterinary education, and public health. Dr. Yeager has over a decade of experience in general practice, shelter medicine, teaching, and governmental work.
As a veterinarian, she loves the variety that her unique position allows her to have. She loves meeting new people, working with students, and helping animals and her community. No two days are ever exactly alike. Although her position has its challenges, it always has its rewards. She loves animals and the veterinary community, and she’s committed to good causes and professional organizations that shape the future of veterinary medicine.
Dr. Yeager shares her home with her husband and her ornery border terrier, Milton. She enjoys running, playing the piano, and cooking up good food.
